City of canals

My painting friend Matej and I decided to embark on our own monthly painting challenge, based on the same reference photo.

This one portrays the city of Venice, which beauty never fails to impress me.
The perspective in my painting is unique ;), but I'm content with the glazing on the right buildings...

My favourite season

On Sunday I went hiking on the Parenzana, which was the railway connecting Trieste and Poreč (in present day Italy, Slovenia and Croatia), operating till 1935. It is now transformed into a cycle and hiking route, named The route of health and friendship.
